What profile sections do free listings show as locked?

Free listings display five sections as locked until you upgrade to a paid launch. Your content is saved and appears when unlocked.

Updated

Your core profile always shows

Every listing—free or paid—displays your name, tagline, product description, features, category, FAQs, social links, logo and homepage screenshot. You can edit these at any time from /account/listings. They're your launch window foundation.

Five sections locked on free listings

A free listing holds back five premium sections. They're listed on your profile as locked, but the content you enter is saved and will display as soon as they open:

  • Founder story: your founder biography, with a link to a dedicated story page
  • Milestones: dated checkpoints in your product's trajectory
  • Screenshots and demo video: a gallery plus demo link
  • Dofollow website link: a followed link to your site (free listings show a nofollow link instead)
  • Comparisons: your main competitor and alternative products

Unlock all sections with a paid launch

Upgrade to a paid launch at $5 to open every section and activate the dofollow website link. Your profile moves into full orbit.

To upgrade: sign in, go to /account/listings, find your listing and select 'Upgrades and extras'. All five sections unlock immediately and your website link switches to dofollow.

Questions people ask

Is my locked content lost if I don't upgrade?
No. Everything you enter in locked sections is saved. It appears on your profile the moment each section opens.
Can I edit my free listing before upgrading?
Yes. Your name, tagline, description, features, category, FAQs, social links and logo can be edited anytime from /account/listings.
What's the difference between a nofollow and dofollow link?
A dofollow link is one search engines may follow; a nofollow link asks them not to. Free listings have nofollow links; paid launches have dofollow.
