How it started
Neil Lock founded Zinn Digital® and is building its platform at zinndigital.com. As a child, Neil learned technology on the family farm's computer systems, the Commodore 64 and the ZX Spectrum; at about twenty it became his profession. He has spent more than 25 years building software, search and hosting, and Zinn Digital® is where his work in hosting, search and AI comes together in a single product.
The idea
Hosting and SEO, AI-first, in one place: that is what Zinn Digital® offers. Everything is managed from a single dashboard in the customer's own language and currency; the platform itself is published in 58 languages.
What he is building
Footprint-Free Hosting serves SEOs, and Mainstream Hosting covers managed WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, static and Node sites. The servers are not someone else's: Zinn Digital® builds, tunes and owns the infrastructure end to end. A proactive firewall and malware scanning watch every site, and each one runs in its own kernel-level cage. For speed, smart auto-purge coordinates a LiteSpeed full-page cache, a per-site Redis object cache and the CDN edge. The 24/7 AI support agent is Neil's own work and has real functions; a spec-first API, generated SDKs, a CLI, a Terraform provider, signed webhooks and an MCP server serve developers. Reseller and agency hosting runs under the customer's own brand.
