Control your signal
Every notice email carries a one-click unsubscribe link—hit it and that notice type stops. For finer control, head to /account/notifications to toggle each notice type and set how often you receive them.
Keep in mind: receipts, refunds, payment problems, listing holds and security notices are always transmitted. These are mission-critical comms you'll need.
Update your sign-in email
Go to /account/email and enter the new address with your password. We then email both the current and the new address; confirm by pressing the button in both emails. Once both are confirmed, the sign-in email changes, other browsers are signed out and the old address gets a confirmation. Lost access to your current inbox? Send a request from /help and we check it is you.
Close your account
Go to /account/privacy and choose 'Close your account'. The page shows exactly what will happen before anything changes; you then confirm with your sign-in email and password. Closing takes your listings offline, removes your personal data and signs you out on every device. It cannot be reversed, and there is no refund for paid listings; your statutory rights are not affected.
For your own files: at /account/privacy you can download every record tied to your account in a single file.
Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires. How we handle personal data is explained in /privacy.
Questions people ask
- Can I stop some emails but keep others?
- Yes. Unsubscribe links in individual emails work for that notice type. Use /account/notifications to configure each notice separately and set frequency.
- What happens when I change my sign-in email?
- Enter the new address and your password at /account/email. We email the current and the new address; press the button in each and the change is made.
- Are any emails mandatory?
- Receipts, refunds, payment problems, listing holds and security notices always transmit—you cannot unsubscribe from these.
