How do I claim and verify my listing on the boards?

Take ownership of your company's listing and earn the Verified badge by proving domain control.

Updated

Initiate your claim

Navigate to your listing and select "Claim", or go directly to /claim/<listing>. You'll need to prove you control the company's domain—this is how we confirm you're authorised to manage the listing in orbit.

Verification methods: choose one

You have four ways to complete the verification burn:

  • Email verification: We send a secret link to an address at your company's domain. Click it to confirm.
  • DNS TXT record: Add our verification code to the root domain's DNS settings.
  • Meta tag: Place a meta tag on your homepage.
  • Verification file: Upload a small verification file to your website.

Pick whichever method suits your T-minus timeline. Verification codes expire after 14 days, so if yours reaches zero, initiate the claim sequence again.

What you unlock at lift-off

Once verified, you become the listing owner (if it was unclaimed), gain full edit access, and display the Verified badge. The badge signals that you control the domain—it stays with you, is never sold, and operates independently of paid placement and vote counts on the boards.

Questions people ask

Which verification method should I choose?
All four methods work equally well. Pick the one that fits your setup fastest: email is quickest for most, but DNS, meta tag, or file upload work just as well.
Does the Verified badge affect my ranking on the boards?
No. The badge proves domain control only. It's separate from paid placement and doesn't change your vote count or board position.
What happens if my verification code expires?
Start the claim process again from your listing or /claim/<listing>. You'll receive a fresh code with 14 days to complete verification.
