How do I book a sponsorship slot?
Three sponsorship positions: homepage, category and newsletter. Homepage and category run 7 days; the newsletter is one issue. Queued automatically if booked.

Your three launch windows
Three sponsorship slots orbit Biz Startup Launcher:
- Homepage sponsorship ($49): the one Sponsored position on the homepage, visible for 7 days.
- Category sponsorship ($19): top of your listing's category page, live for 7 days.
- Newsletter sponsorship ($29): the Sponsored place in one weekly newsletter issue.
Each slot displays your company with a Sponsored label. Links are marked as sponsored. Sponsorship never influences votes, rankings or orbital position.
Scheduling your run
One sponsor occupies each slot at any moment. When you book:
- Is the slot empty? You lift off immediately.
- Is the slot occupied? Your run queues behind the current occupant. /sponsor shows your exact launch and landing dates before checkout and again in your cart.
T-minus: booking steps
You need a live or queued listing. Head to /sponsor, select your listing, choose your slot and book—it enters your cart like standard purchases. Alternatively, navigate to /account/listings, select "Upgrades and extras", or add sponsorship during your submission sequence.
Mission control: tracking results
After payment, /account/sponsorships displays each sponsorship's status: live, scheduled or completed. View your dates, impressions and clicks per run.
Questions people ask
- When does my sponsorship start if the slot is taken?
- Your run enters the queue and begins directly after the current sponsor's term ends. Dates display on /sponsor and in checkout.
- Can I book sponsorship from my account page?
- Yes. Go to /account/listings, select your listing and choose "Upgrades and extras". You can also add it during listing submission.
- Do sponsorships change my ranking or votes?
- No. Sponsorship is purely visible placement. It never influences votes, rankings or voting position on the boards.
