How do reviews, votes and influence work at launch?

Build your standing through participation
Influence is earned by taking part on Biz Startup Launcher. Write reviews of other founders' products, post comments on launches, receive votes on your own listing, and sign in day after day. Your influence level sits at /account/influence and cannot be purchased—only gained through genuine activity. A higher influence score gives your vote more weight when you vote on the boards.
Submit reviews and engage with replies
To write a review, sign in with a confirmed email address and have a live listing of your own. Each review must be at least 80 characters and lifts off straight away with no approval wait. You can review each product once, but your own listing is off-limits.
Listing owners and managers with team access can post a single public reply under any review, then edit or delete it later. The reviewer gets notified when a reply launches.
Comment, report and follow
Signed-in visitors with confirmed email can comment on any launch and answer other comments. Spot a problem? Use the Report link on any listing, review, reply or comment. If 3 different people report a review or comment, it hides pending our team's review. Reported listings go straight to our team and are never hidden automatically.
Follow companies, products or founders with the Follow button. You'll receive updates in your notices—set your frequency and channels at /account/notifications. Updates appear on the listing and together at /updates.
Share launches across channels
Every launch has a share page with pre-written text ready for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, WhatsApp and email, plus a copy-link button for quick sharing.

- How do I build influence on the boards?
- Influence grows when you write reviews, comment on launches, get votes on your own listing, and visit regularly. It cannot be bought, only earned.
- What happens if I report a review or comment?
- When 3 people report the same review or comment, it hides while our team checks it. Reported listings always go to our team first.
- Can I reply to reviews of my product?
- Yes. If you own the listing or manage it with team access, you can post one public reply to each review, and edit or delete it later.
