How do I show my company's revenue?
An optional monthly figure you enter yourself at /account/revenue, always shown as self-reported.
Updated
What it is
A listing can carry one revenue number: what the company took in during one calendar month, in US dollars. Adding it is optional. The owner of the listing can report it, and so can someone who manages the listing. Every figure is labelled self-reported, as it is not audited by us.
Where to add it
Everything happens at /account/revenue once you are signed in. Enter the revenue, select the month it belongs to, add a proof link if you like, and save.
How it is shown
The display reads like this: the amount, self-reported, the month, and when it was reported. A company has a single figure, shown on all its listings. You will see the figure on the listing page and on the revenue leaderboard.
What we accept
You can report this month or any month from the previous two years. Our team can see the proof link - visitors cannot. Zero is not a figure - to take a number down, use Remove. Use a public https:// address for the proof link, if you add one.
On the leaderboard
Self-reported and verified revenue are never combined on /leaderboards/revenue: they have separate tables. None of it affects community votes or the billboard. A verified option is coming.
Changing or removing it
Changing your mind is easy: Remove at /account/revenue takes it down everywhere. Our staff may hide a figure that breaks the rules; every change stays in the history.
