How is the Agent Search Engine index built?
The index uses public GitHub data for repository-listed projects including language, recorded license, repository activity and README material. Projects are ordered by GitHub stars by default. Hand-added records appear separately in alphabetical groups. Every listing has a recorded primary type and can be filtered by task, access and setup requirements.
Are rankings sold or manipulated by sponsorship?
No. Rankings are never sold. Paid placements are always labeled Sponsored, never carry a rank number, and never reorder the organic index. Sponsorship and affiliate links are part of the commercial model but do not affect editorial rankings.
How can I submit a tool or product to the index?
You can submit your agent using the free submission form. For corrections to existing listings, include the listing URL and a public source. For advertising and featured placements, contact the advertising team.
